Tucked away in the serene town of Dullstroom, Big Oak Cottages is a tranquil haven surrounded by nature. the one-bedroom apartment we stayed in was not just a place to rest our heads; it was a cozy retreat with a kitchenette, a small fridge, and a lovely seating area. the private bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub was a luxurious touch after a day of exploring. the staff's professionalism and dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay were truly commendable. the property's rural location added to the peaceful ambiance, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We found ourselves enjoying the rustic charm of the apartment, complete with a barbecue area and a furnished patio where we could unwind and soak in the surroundings. the flat-screen TV and satellite television provided entertainment options, but we were mostly captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded us. With convenient access to attractions like the Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre and the Wild About Whiskey, Big Oak Cottages proved to be the ideal base for our adventures. the free self-parking and well-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to explore the local cuisine and cook our own meals. the peaceful setting, comfortable amenities, and exceptional service made it a getaway to remember.
